My 50th parkrun in a year

I really enjoyed completing my 50th parkrun this year @BartleyPparkrun #loverunning #loveparkrun

My final parkrun of 2022 was at Bartley Park. I was ‘running’ with M, so I knew I wouldn’t get a PB. I had really hoped I would get back under 30 minutes at parkrun this year, but it was not to be. Staying Alive

My training hasn't happened this week, but I did complete a parkrun at Ganger Farm

This week has been a write-off when it comes to marathon training. I was very busy at work interviewing candidates for four posts and then I ended up becoming ill. I managed a training session on Monday and have spent the rest of the week focusing on staying alive. Finally achieved Groundhog Day!

After parkrunning for over 11 years, I finally achieved Groundhog Day. I completed two consecutive parkruns @sotonparkrun in exactly the same time. The weather conditions were completely different and on was #buggyrunning but I did it! #loveparkrun

The last few weeks have been so hectic that I’ve not had any time for blogging… and not enough time for exercise either. I keep dreaming of the days when I could run well, but I don’t seem to be making any progress there, so I’m looking for victories in other places.
