Welcome to the capital of New Zealand - Wellington!

The free 1-hour tour within the Beehive was enlightening and much appreciated, with people all friendly and all. The wet morning didnt help from the photography standpoint, but nothing dampens as much as the sudden cold front that Wellington underwent that day, bringing the temperature down to a chilly-wet 11 degrees.

With barely a few hours to spare, a quick visit up the Botanic Garden and train museum followed by a snippy fast food lunch was all I have got time for!

Hopefully, the cruise feedback will extend the work dock operation in the future.
