📰 "Parlor Scene" 🧶

Jules Alexandre Grün (1868-1934) - Parlor Scene. Oil on board, signed Grün (lower right), 13 x 9 1/8 inches.
First 6 (unlettered/uncolored) pages for a comic I’m working on. Might redraw them. Really hoping for feedback/crits.
Prologue can be found here.
Just a quick point about the parlor scene. I really love this moment, when Anthony Perkins says “She’d be alone up there. Her fire would go out. It would be cold and damp like a grave.” Despite him swearing off the idea of abandoning Mrs. Bates, it seems to me that there’s just the hint of a wistful smile on his lips, and just the barest hopefulness in how he reads the line. Perhaps enough to make Mother jumpy about the ideas Marion is putting in Norman’s head.
