Welcome to the Parmaverse !!
my thoughts on remnant in my au is that parma-michael regenerated a lot after being scooped but then gradually resumed deterioration over the course of a couple decades due to the decay of original remnant. like, over time, remnant gets messy and fucked up and unless it's being regularly supplemented with new remnant (e.g. springtrap) or self-stabilizing (chucky) it eventually decays naturally or goes dormant.
i finally fit SL in. please cheer
Wait in parmaverse is Chuckys remnant from Will ??
BINGO !!!
like propagating a leaf cutting but with a soul. not really a selfless act from Will, because he just wanted to expel that disgusting saccharine ache from his being so he could fully indulge in the Thrill of the Kill
While Chucky got that loving, joyful remnant it also came along with persistent, inexplicable feelings of guilt, alienation and self-loathing. yaaaay /s
When the new location was opening, hold on. hm. original thought derailed, now I have to think about what they were doing with the haunted animatronics during construction.
though the renovations were done during daytime hour while the old animatronics were confined to parts&service, the construction team had 1 death (not on the premises but still related) 3 inexplicable injuries and a lot of strange accidents throughout.
multiple labourers reported auditory hallucinations of a little boy crying from another room, children laughing, and footsteps, as well as ephemeral visual hallucinations. the worksite was widely considered cursed, and the project changed contractors several times before completion.
okay back to my original thought. Henry promoted Mike to daytime security without telling Sean beforehand, and Mike was like "yeah awesome, thanks boss" under the presumption that Sean would have to cover nightshift again (retribution) but then Sean went and hired a new nightguard (deflecting the consequences of his sin unto the innocent)
parmaverse jeremy's characterization is representative of how being a people pleaser makes you exhausted and bitter and constantly on edge. the cost of being known as a sweet and kind person is being kind of a bitch on your time off
Jeremy and Cassidy were actually pretty close, so much so that he like actually cried for over an hour until his mom agreed to let him go back to brockton for her birthday because he "super pinky promised (more powerful and morally binding than a regular pinky promise)" that he would be there.
They were both quiet kids, but once they got talking they really, really hit it off— both kind of troubled wallflowers with a fixation on ghost stories that usually unnerved the people around them. They considered themselves fully fledged amateur paranormal researchers at 11 years old.
They had a theory about the circumstances of a haunting. There were criteria, see.
A diagnostic checklist, as outlined by Cassidy Zhang and peer reviewed by S.J Fitzgerald:
1. Is there a normal explanation for the weird things such as faulty wiring or gas leaks or drafts or wonky flooring?
2. Witnesses. Are they just lying for money or have a history of sicosis psicosis [sic]
3. Motive for haunting. Lots of people die and lots of people aren't happy about it. But are they unhappy enough to cause problems about it? Common reasons include unfinished business, revenge, extremely powerful anger or sadness, so on.
4. ????? unknown factors beyond human understanding ??????
5. Proof. Without REAL evidence like ectoplasm or a picture or maybe scary blood coming from the walls, the case is nothing. Nada. Kapoot. Ouija boards don't count as proof because I say so.
