Parquet Courts - Wide Awake! (2018)........Very prolific band releasing an album almost every year. And all very good! This one is no exception and when you drop the needle on the record you are certain of their distinctive sound. There is no one like them and probably the most exciting and original band today. If The Fall and The Strokes had a child together this is exactly how it would sound like. They are quirky, weird and fun. They make you wanna dance and jump around not go and kill yourself. Post-punk needn’t be dark and gloomy, these guys have proved it! I can’t praise enough about these guys, they are just that good! The most original and fun band to come along in a long while. #parquetcourts #wideawake #postpunk #indierock #bestband
