In the middle of the night last night (didn't roll over to check the time, but I'd guess around 4 or 5am?) Ichabod suddenly went "Ichabod Ichabooddd...ICKie biiirdd..." And then went right back to sleep. ...can birds talk in their sleep?? I'm assuming it was something more like he just woke up briefly and chatted himself back to sleep, but it got me thinking. Animals (and humans, obviously) DO make noises in their sleep--could he make THOSE noises, which he has learned? Or does sleep-talking require one to be dreaming? Do parrots dream? We know they have the intelligence of a toddler, do we know if they dream?? So many questions...
