You ever seen anything by Parroty Interactive? They were a small company that I don't think is around anymore who made pretty terrible PC games in the 90s as spoofs of existing properties, like X-Files and Myst
Yes! A quick Google search hasn’t revealed anything, but I wonder if anyone has spoken with the people behind Parroty about the business side of their company. They published four games from 1996 to 1998, and I can’t imagine a universe where a CD-ROM parody called Microshaft Winblows 98 was a sound financial decision.
