So now that Hermione is being cast as black in the Cursed Child ... will you finally admit that you are wrong that Hermione is white in canon, when it's completely unspecified? Or will you just peddle more racist bullshit?

 You are being double standard here. Aren’t you the ones saying that the movies “do not count” and that Emma Watson “does not represent book Hermione” (and much more disrespectful remarks toward Emma) and stuff like that? And now that there is another form of media - theater - you are jumping on it that “the theater counts!”.

 I am sorry, the only Canon thing are the Books, and in the Books Hermione Granger (and Harry Potter) are both white people.

Pottermore Art is Canon. Seriously, there are hundreds of gorgeous Art there, you can go on the website to check, and both Harry and Hermione have fair skin.

This is the Canon stuff - how the creator of the novels imagined and wrote her characters, and JK Rowling wrote the trio as white English children. Which is not racist at all, and very normal, since England is a very white country (over 94% of the population is white) and so is Joanne. Read this thread if you want to argue please.

 Also, I hope you are aware (probably not) that casting Noma was fan service? For people like you who are always complaining and harassing JK Rowling that she didn’t “create enough representation”? 

 I mean, this is only because of a site like Tumblr but the amount of critics againt JKR I see on here …

 Also, there were so many critics (on Tumblr, where else?) when Fantastic Beasts’ cast was announced. Many wanted Newt to be Black, although on the art of Newt (a portrait) that is going around I am quite sure since 2000 (I might be wrong but I am fairly certain) he is a white man. I saw tweets toward JKR “why all the cast of FB is white?” to which she replied “Not all the cast is White”. 

 Anyway sorry for the long rant, and I am not directing it directly at you, Anon, (since I don’t know your position on these issues), but I wish they would leave JK Rowling alone. She wrote her story as she wanted to write it. She does not have to include or represent anyone. And she is a lovely human being, too, kind and clever, who gave us such a beautiful story, she does not deserve hate. I am sure she is hurt to some extent and very tired from these critics.

 Did I go out of subject? Sorry. To conclude I am repeating, Harry and Hermione are both white in book Canon. And I am a bit tired about this subject. I will never cease to respect book Canon, and those who insist those characters are not white would persist in their delusions I think, so, no point to argue more.

 I am happy these actors were cast because perhaps JKR will be left alone for a time. I am sure they will be great in their roles. But I do not think I will see the play. I do not live in London and do not have enough money to travel there only for a theater play.

 And since you are going to take the (talented I do not doubt) actors of the play as Canon, can we at least agree that Harry is not an Indian boy?

Oh this fucking bitch is trying to say asexuality isn’t a legit orientation based on how much studies there are saying otherwise, but has no issue claiming its a dysfunction based on very little evidence. 

Here’s the thing, I have no problem talking about the lack of evidence for asexuality and the fact there is so little studies, but she’s being total hypocritical cunt about the whole thing. She also changes what evidence she wants. And she refuses to take any source done by a psychologist, despite nearly every study out there for this type of thing is done by psychologist.
