hi hello i saw we were doing book recs :) ๐ although a few of three are from my tbr, most of them are personal favourites, and anyway i just really wanted to throw in my two pennies worth and suggest some titles i think you might possibly! i tried to select a variety of styles/genres while sticking to topics/themes you said you enjoy, so without further ado (and hoping one of these might catch your eye and help drag you out of your reading slump) my recommendations are: pachinko, the sea by john banville, klara and the sun/never let me go/the remains of the day by ishiguro, annihilation, the dutch house by ann pachett, the snow child by eowyn ivey, the invisible life of addie larue, giovanni's room, lighthousekeeping by jeanette winterson, she who became the sun, small things like these by claire keegan, young mungo by douglas stuart, my brilliant friend by elena ferrante, the go-between by colm tรณibรญn, grace by paul lynch, gilead, and the makikoka sisters by tanizaki ๐ธ
