hello chief a question for you: do you think that these 3 posts (in succession)
are meant to be exclusionary towards asexuality, or to generally imply that ace people (in this case men) are not queer? or what's your general take on this. i don't love it but i also can't seem to fully grasp what is being said which is i think because of my imperfect grasp of the english language. username not included cause that's not what this is about
yeah this is straight up bad faith aromanticism/asexuality exclusion. have now learned what sweat bees are tho that's cool. my read is they're implying demi/aro/ace people aren't queer and are invading queer spaces. the first post is smugly calling the coworker hetero, and the second is broadly saying if we allow in aro and demi people then my own queer identity won't mean anything.
one of the common ways to couch bigotry is to frame the target as some other undesirable or oppressive group: if you wanna be racist imply misogynistic Black men represent Black people, if you wanna be misogynistic imply racist white women represent women, if you wanna be aphobic focus on aspec men attracted to women
