Don’t get tired now. Wake up. We are meant to embrace life. We are meant to create life. Through choice and desire. Dreaming and designing life as we want it. Embracing and creating life means to make requests and demands on life and to accept life’s challenges that come with that creation we are building. It’s means paying ones dues everyday, every month and every year until we cross that finish line. And hopefully enjoying some rewards while doing so. Celebrating all the bumps, bruises, scrapes and cuts we have gathered along the way. It means experiencing life as an active and receptive participant in a sometimes comprehensible, sometimes incomprehensible, always pulsating and changing universe. It’s still in development. And our imaginations and dreams are creating it. We are the dreamers, the creators, the builders, AND the destroyers. So breath it in. All of it. We must gratefully inhale life! Then circulate it and exhale our own answering breath. Stay awake! Stay alive! Even when the chatter is unbearably loud. Even when the whispering sorrows are too much to take. Even through our failures and failures of the world and even through all the hellos and goodbyes that wake and break our hearts. I will not give up my right to live and have the life I have designed and always dreamed. Life is busy. Life is messy. But I will face the mess of life with all its bullshit reality and find the time to make my own reality that I choose.
