Adjectives : Participial
Participial adjective are adjectives that end with -ing or -ed. They come from verbs.
e.g This movie amazes me. (Verb)
It’s an amazing movie. I’m amazed. (Adjectives)
Participial adjectives often describe feelings.
Use the -ing form for someone or something that causes a feeling.
Use the -ed form for the person who has the feeling.
e.g The roach is disgusting.
(The roach causes the feeling.)
I’m disgusted.
(I have the feeling.)
