when you say you "detest wolverine" is that the wolverine of the movie world you're talking about? or the comic book one too? cos I can fully understand hating the movie one.
Both. I'm fine with early Wolverine stuff but a lot of what made Wolverine interesting to me was explained away (his real origin I find uninteresting), retcons (Sabretooth was suppose to be Logans father but Marvel removed that. I always liked Sabretooth.) and this need to make him more badass and his multiple appearances everywhere.
I like Wolverine in the X-Men, a classic version of the X-Team or somethign similar to the New X-Men. I like his first mini series. After that I could care less.
