Temetitio Headcanon:
Temenos is attracted to honesty and simplicity, but Partitio looks for someone who can challenge him mentally.
Without meaning to, he helps Temenos make peace with the way his brain works. The way uses half-truths to protect himself only excites Partitio, and their relationship is a mix between consensual mind games and tooth-rotting genuinity.

Hello! I have a Temenos x Partitio fic I've been thinking about writing for a while and saw your post about ship names. Mind if I ask about your headcanons?
Holy shit, an ask? About my headcanons? (alright, play it cool. Play it cool)
*inhales*
Okay, so their first meeting does not go well. Because Temenos will have this completely subconscious self-defense reaction of, “This man will die horribly. Do not get attached.”
So he mistakes this uneasy feeling for irritation/annoyance. The dislike is very thickly masked, yet Partitio is smart enough to discern Temenos’s true feelings for him. He’s more curious than offended, though.
After Stormhail, Temenos’s unease definitely gets way, way stronger. The only thing keeping things from blowing up is the fact that they're so busy with their stories. But once Partitio sets his full attention on Temenos, gods help him.
After the inevitable blow up, Temenos can finally see past Partitio’s goofy demeanor, and it interests him very much.
So the reason they’d be attracted to each other/would make a good couple: they complement each other. I don’t see it as an “opposites attract,” more like two pieces that fit together. I don’t have a better idiom for this.
Like their similarities include: being observant, convincing people, high intelligence, yet the way it manifests is completely different from each other.
I headcanon that the difference between Osvald, Partitio, and Temenos’s scrutiny would be “scale.” In a crime scene: Osvald could tell you the ethnicity of the person who left the fingerprints, Partitio could tell you how exactly the person was pushed against the wall, and Temenos would take in the entire room, the knocked over chair, the slightly open window, the scratches on the door, all of it, and be like, “We don’t need to go into that much detail, you know. It’s quite obvious.”
For convincing, Temenos has his “guide” path action, and I doubt he would persuade anyone with his usual attitude. Temenos practices his act, while Partitio has his natural charisma. But! The main difference, the one that colors their actions completely differently, would be intent. Tememos would do anything he must, while Partitio will never ever screw over anyone. Sure, he could tell a few fibs, exaggerate himself a bit, but he’ll always have the other person’s wellbeing in mind.
Now, there’s one headcanon I always think about: They both have no self awareness, yet are hyper aware of others. Basically they cover each other’s blind spots. Temenos will stop Partitio from doing something stupid, and Partitio will stop Temenos from thinking something stupid.
tldr; Temenos tells Partitio not to be a dumbass, while Partitio tells Temenos he’s a dumbass.
Ah uh... I have more but I’ve spent way too long on this already. Thanks for the ask!
