Someday i want to do a comic for this, but Alastor cooks at the hotel. He makes lots of southern dishes that he (gleefully) spices to perfection and likes watching residents and staff die over.
But, he also makes a separate batch (seasoned with no evil intent and purely for flavor) for the Vees (specifically Vox) that he sends over via his shadow. He's ALWAYS making Vox, Vel, and consequentially Val food. (Yes it does make Val mad that Alastor is such a good cook.)
Alastor really likes eating with Vox too. Sometimes Vox will eat sinner meat meals with him (its not as icky of a concept when its seasoned and has boiled veggies...) but Al actually leans really hard into seafood for Vox because he personally suspects Vox likes to eat seafood the most (the same way he likes to eat deer the most!)
Note: Vox DOES like to eat seafood a Lot. His shark instincts go wild when Alastor brings his homemade seafood boil to eat together during a movie.
