Why does he keep staring at his...

So I had to his older guy come in and ask me for a water pump, after I look it up I told him there were two options. He's not listening, he just keeps saying okay and looking down...there. there is a counter separating is but I get the jist.

I ask him a few more times which one he would like as we make eye contact too many times in between him looking down.
