[ SPIN THE BOTTLE ]

Pandreo had always wanted to get to know Yunaka better, always thought she'd be a blast at a party, but he didn't expect this to be how he found out. But with all the noise, all the pretense stripped away...is there a better way to get to know someone?

Yunaka looks like she kisses like a hurricane, in a good way. He's...weirdly kind of stoked. In the same way that he'd be stoked to howl with her in the moonlight.

His grin is a wide, helpless thing. "Yunaka!" he cries, "come on over!"

There's something like a spark - a literal one - when their lips meet. She's all wiry strength and bubbly mystery; she wonders if she'll bare her teeth.

Nerves are still buzzing. The party, the crowds...it's still a lot. She meant it when she said she wanted to stick it out and be there to support Fogado, but that doesn't mean a lot to the ever rising panic she feels in the back of her throat.

She's fine. She can handle this. She knows most of the people here, and it's just a silly, harmless game. She can manage being normal a little while longer.

The bottle lands on her and she does her best to perk up like she's excited about it. Pandreo is fine. Pandreo is someone she knows, and someone that Fogado trusts. That means a lot.

Yunaka laughs as she follows his order. She's pretty sure he's the one who's supposed to be coming to her. Not that she minds. "Heya. So, does stuff like this happen at all of those parties?" The kissing, she means. "Or is this just a special, one time, Fogado birthday boy thing?"

She's not sure how she's gunna feel about Fogado trying so hard to get her to go to parties if this is an all parties thing.

Kissing Pandreo is easier. The mask that is "Yunaka" still sits comfortably in place with him, so she doesn't mind kissing him with a hand in his hair to hold him steady before he jumps back to howl. She doesn't mind holding the kiss for just long enough to be brushing past the idea of chaste, and doesn't mind ending it with a playful nip at his bottom lip before she pulls away laughing.

"Was that Zappy enough for the party?"

Pandreo's seen her, a knight on patrol with a bow at her hip, surveying the monastery grounds like a hawk. He's surprised she's here at all, but he certainly shouldn't judge based on appearances. Someone who enjoys a good party doesn't have to wear it on their sleeve, like he does.

He's played this game plenty of times back home, mostly ending up kissing some handsome palace guards. Why does this feel...different?

"Miss Shamir," he says softly, "may I have this kiss?" Why is he being so formal??? Just do it, dummy!!!

He leans in, his hand inadvertently brushing her glove as he steadies himself. He closes his eyes, mouth pressing to hers. She's beautiful in a way he doesn't feel worthy of appraising, like when he sees a nice sword at the armory.

Pandreo's a bit lightheaded when he pulls away. He sends up a silent prayer that she won't laugh at him, or avoid him when she sees him around. He holds himself back from saying something stupid like thanks! or wow, that was nice!

Honestly? She's not sure why she's here either. The party and the theatrics were one thing, but... maybe it's the promise of a few extra drinks, or the thought of watching some fruitless drama unfold at the whims of a spun bottle-- affection isn't exactly a priority of hers. Yet Shamir does find it to be quite amused by the clear nerves playing across the ginger boy's face, the slightest hint of a smirk tugging at her lips. It's cute, almost. Eager, yet reserved. Traits she can appreciate, at least. Not reckless and overly clumsy (like someone else she knows.) "Oh, asking instead of doing? Polite," She chuckles to herself, yet once he leans in, she decides to up the stakes a little. Her fingers clutch at the collar of his top, jerking him forward for a moment before she mumbles in the seconds before he closes the distance. "Too bad I'm not as well-mannered."

She does, however, take mercy on him by not making this harder than it needs to be. Once he pulls away, she lets go of his shirt, bringing a hand up to run a thumb over her lips. "Not bad, at least-- you haven't given me a reason to complain."

[ GOSSIP ] With all these people milling around, there’s plenty of room for discussion… like who would make the most adorable couple? Or, even juicier, who has invisible strings tying them together? Do tell!

Pandreo has long been fascinated by Rafal. He's…still kind of confused about where he came from, and why he briefly aided the Divine One's army, but he wasn't really in the business of questioning loyalties. He's heard whispers, too - some louder than others - that Rafal is a dragon. He wonders if Rafal will accept prayers, but that can come later.

"Evening!" Pandreo chimes, closing in on Rafal. He seems rather…standoffish, for being at a day-of-devotion party. "Are you havin' fun? People watching's fun, too. See any good drama?"

CUPIDO BASH — icebreakers.

A cordial greeting, pleasant across any circumstance and conveyed in sunny tone. Followed by the constriction of a dragon's slitted pupils.

"You are. . ."

Rafal blinked with surprise as he took in the sight of a pious white-robed shade. Be it a war they shared at distance on the battlefield, or occasional glances around the Somniel, his knowledge of the one known as Pandreo was cursory at best. To Rafal's recollection, the party priest of his world had been eager to spill blood and steadfast in his loyalty; a close retainer of Fogado who left the world earlier than his master—slain in front of him. Perhaps, then, not steadfast in all ways.

He pursed his lips, considering the questions placed before him. Already their choice of verbiage struck a clear difference from the somber attitudes of one mirror Elyos. "Fun is a word yet to be determined, if ever. I do not pay mind to the dealings of others much less their. . .drama."

A watcher, not a talker, the former heir of Sombron was. And more importantly, direct though the other man's greeting, the same Fell Heir possessed no reason to think it intended for him. He returned stiffly to his empty endeavors of eyeing the dessert platters, none remotely up to par with the greatest sugar tooth known to man.

"Have you need for me, priest? State so plainly. If pleasantry is what you seek, you will not find it with the likes of a Fell Dragon."

Meet Cute (accepting!)

What was this? A discarded scarf on the ground? The wolf's wet nose snuffled into it, tail wagging in the air behind him. He didn't recognize this scent. The garment was still slightly warm, and the scent of its owner fresh. Perhaps it had been dropped by mistake. A dog would do what dogs did best. It was a convenient excuse for Volug to make his way around the monastery grounds, after all, gathering information as he went. After all, it belonged to someone Volug didn't immediately recognize, so that was another morsel of information for him to gather.

What harm was there in a dog being helpful? Plenty of them were trained to retrieve objects. It wouldn't arouse suspicion at all, though he could easily envision people telling others about the dog they saw carrying a scarf. Beorc did love dogs ever so much, after all. Volug wasn't too keen on having rumors about him floating around, but would anyone even be able to piece together just from that story that he was a laguz? Probably not.

It didn't take long for Volug to catch up to his quarry. His lupine legs could carry him much faster than the average person walked. With the cloth gingerly held in the beast's powerful jaws, he approached the man whose scent the scarf matched. Massive as he was, he did his best to appear cute and innocent, wagging excitedly as he trotted up to the man. Hopefully his fluffy frame made him look more gentle than imposing.
