I came across an earlier confession saying that Cuphead should cover his ears while Cagney played the trumpet. I feel the need to inform the public that Cuphead is, in fact, earless. Ergo, he cannot cover his ears. Ergo, this is impossible. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Why have you suddenly been into your old fandoms the past few days? I don’t mean this as a mean thing, just wondering!

You seem to misunderstand how my hyperfixation works!

As someone who tends to bounce around a few different fandoms, I find difficulty in being interested in more than one thing at a time. It makes me feel overwhelmed to give my time and effort to multiple things at once, so I instead focus on one thing, and do fanart and work for one fandom at a time. And it can last from anywhere between a few hours to months at a time, how long I spend focusing on one thing.

And this isn’t something I have much say over, either. I don’t often (and most times cannot) sit myself down and think “okay, today I will do content for xyz”. It can be a constant struggle to do so, as well. It’s not that I’m physically unable to, because I can force myself to, but it visibly affects my art to the point where it loses charm and flow, where you as the viewer can see that I’m unhappy doing it. For a lack of a better term, it just doesn’t Spark Joy(?).

When left to my own devices, whatever I focus on is actually kind of like a roll of the dice, and I apologize to anyone who follows me only for one kind of content.

But it’s how I work, unfortunately.
