*Tal’kaela’s left arm throbbed with pain as she waited in sickbay to receive medical attention.  The ship was jarred by an unexpected attack by an alien vessel, and the Uhlan had unfortunately landed wrong when falling off an elevated platform.  Luckily, the ship that attacked them was destroyed easily by the warbird’s disruptors.  If only the foolish aliens had focused less on superior firepower and more on strengthening their shields they may have stood a chance against the Romulans*
