First and second day of PCEW Project!
“A pencil, so many cultures, a Europe so many worlds” kicked off
Bologna, 29 April 2017 - An Erasmus+ project that gathers a total of 36 youth that centered on the theme of "A pencil, so many cultures, a Europe so many worlds" had kicked off here, yesterday. The event that took place at a monastery run by Capuchin Friars had witnessed the gathering of youth from the age of 17 to 27 years old that hailed from various country comprises of Italian, Finland, Turkey,Portugal, Macedonia, and Lithuania. The youth action project's theme revolves around citizen journalism, in which the project organiser had highlighted in their presentation about their organization and the fundamentals of the project. Since, it is the first day of the project, an energiser was done right after the presentation of the host organization and the project to break the ice between the young people. They were then divided into groups of mixed nationalities and they were given task to come out with an organization brief of a communication agency. The activities that were done were focused on identifying and establishing a common ground between the group members for their agency. The day was capped off with dinner that were prepared by the Turkish group that consists of Turkish meatball (kofte), Turkish rice, Turkish yogurt with cucumber, Turkish coffee, and Turkish's dessert such as Turkish Delights and Pismaniye.
