Max Siedentopf - Pass photo
I was looking into Max Siedentopf his work, after I found his self guide series “home alone”. I went to his site and came across this piece of work, where Max is challenging the “pasport rules”. There are so many rules with taking your pass photo, like you can’t smile, have a clean background, your face has to face straight into the camera etc. He thinks there is not much space left for self-expressions for the pictures. So that's why he challenged the rules with things you can do while you’re having a pasport photo taken.
I really like his way of working, because he responds to rules and boundaries in a humorous and playful way.
