Peanut Butter Cookies with Chocolate Chunks
English Muffins
For this Pinterest Practice friday treat I decided to do a low spoons project this time around. Work has been a pain lately so I unfortunately haven’t had the type of energy to work on something like macarons again!
The nice thing about milkshakes is that usually your effectiveness relies on how well you know your blender, and even then if you like your shakes smooth like me the blender really does try hard to work with you!
For this recipe, instead of using cake batter ice cream I went with the Target house brand’s Vanilla Bean ice cream not only to keep the cost down but also my new love for all things vanilla bean flavored. Instead of soy milk I used whole milk, and for the mix I used the Duncan Hines red velvet cake mix.
And really this is all you need! Since I was feeling it myself (and I had some leftover from christmas presents) I added a tablespoon of malted milk powder and pulsed the mix on low. For my final pull together I used a vintage blue mason jar, some whipped cream, jimmies, and my favorite slurpee straw.
The end result was something otherworldly! the combination makes for a very rich and thick shake that I couldnt help but smile over. Before you knew it it was gone and I almost ran back in the kitchen to make another.
in its purest form without the powder, be prepared to drop at the very least 8-10 dollars for ingredients (up to 20 if you want the milk powder, drinking glass, sprinkles, and whipped cream) if you dont already have some in your home already. This recipe so far has given me roughly 2 1/2 10 ounce shakes, but i tend to eye the ice cream scoops very loosely so you might be able to get more!
Happy Eating everyone!
