“Where is it, I know it’s here...”
He’d been a lot more successful in Castle Oblivion, really. But he hadn’t been as frenzied as all this at the time; now it was more critical than ever that he track down whatever remained of Xemnas’s research. And there was a place in this forsaken computer room that opened up, there was, which Lea knew because he’d seen it on possibly the worst day of his life.
But he might just have to downgrade it to second worst, after the kinds of encounters he’d had with Isa lately.
That wasn’t important. They needed as much information on the thirteen darknesses as they could get, how Xehanort’s possession worked, and...whether it was reversible. Not just for Isa’s sake--for Riku’s situation long term, too. And apparently there was someone else important to Mickey who was also trapped. So it wasn’t just that Lea was out for himself, this time.
Not that he would have hesitated either way.
Still, he’d rather set himself on fire (again) than directly ask the rest of the former Organization about it. First of all because any situation that put him at a disadvantage with them was intolerable, but secondly because if he asked and they didn’t even know then Lea was going to hurt one of them and there was no denying that fact. Not that, after the things he’d suffered at their hands, they didn’t deserve it--but it wouldn’t help out the power struggle happening between them and the Restoration Committee at the moment. Lea and Leon had a common anger; maybe he could get Leon to twist somebody’s arm.
Lea frustratedly shoved the files away and looked with loathing at the computer screen, which was still vigilantly denying him access. He scoffed testily. Yeah, he was probably going to have to go that route. If he stayed here too much longer he was going to make the equipment even more useless than it already was, so he stalked for the door.
