what would you say is your most challenging fic

I would have to say the most challenging work that I’ve done (so far) would be the first ever SCP work that I wrote a couple years ago. I had to do a lot of world building, something that I was very novice at, and a lot of character analysis, something I was not the best at yet not lacking in.

I’d say the most challenging thing about it is rewriting it and trying to get into the mind of me two years ago, and trying to branch off from that. What would I have wanted for this character to say? What would this character do? How would these extras interact with the world and the main characters? I had a lot of questioning to do and frankly, by the third or fourth chapter, I had called it quits and put it on the back burner (I hope that’s the right phrase) to sit for a while. I’ve been trying to edit some parts here and there outside of the AO3, but nothing major.

I still remember and think a lot about it, so I haven’t forgotten about it. I just have more passion works that I’m working on currently to pay too much attention to past works of mine that I have never finished.

One of the works I’m working on right now is a work with Zhonglette fan kids and I’m really trying my hardest to produce the best version that I can. To say that this might be the most difficult work I’ve worked on recently is an understatement. But compared to “Remembering Hurts”, the SCP work (ironic name now that I think about it), it pales in comparison to what I had to do via improvement and skill building.
