Alright, maybe going to Church after so many years of not attending could be a good experience for her, or maybe not. Amy felt awkward shuffling into the place since it was practically empty. Only a few people were actually inside; one of them just being the janitor tidying up, and the others an elderly woman speaking to a priest in private. The blonde looked around, candles lit and decorations placed everywhere. Going to church at night was either a good thing (since no one had to see her) or a bad thing (since it was kind of creepy to be alone). In any case she went up to the alter, quickly kneeling and clapping her hands together quietly. She kept silent for a few minutes, unsure of what to do. "Um... hi." This was really stupid. No turning back now, she needed to at least give it a go.
"So erm... I know I haven't really done this in a while, but seeing that I have a good enough reason, maybe you can help out? My, um... one of the nurses in the hospital said that maybe praying would work, I doubt it since nothing good has really happened..." She sighed, hating to ramble on. "Anyway... you should already know my situation. Alfred hasn't been getting better, the kid's holding onto a thin thread, but since you're a miracle worker, can you spare a little magic of yours and heal him? I know I've blamed you for a lot of the issues going on in my life, but, if you really can hear me, and if you can help, I'll do anything to have him get better." Amy really didn't like this. She felt like she was talking to herself just to hear her own voice, but the worst of it, she had to hear herself confess all her worries. "I'll do anything, even trade my own health for his. I just, please... help my baby brother." She stared up at the statue, waiting for some sort of reply. After another few minutes of silence she got up and sighed. "Thanks for trying." She dusted herself off and prepared to leave, lips pursed and heart heavy.
