Turkey Day!

This is surely my favorite holiday. Preparations are well under way!

The turkey has been slow roasting since 1am, and will continue doing so until we eat around 2/2:30pm today. You can’t go wrong with low and slow.

A whole mess of fresh pasta

Corn with roasted red peppers, poblanos, and onions

Smoked brown trout, caught close to home

Citrus!

Some of the bread I cubed and dehydrated for dressing

I love it when the turkey comes with the neck. This has been cooking all night and will become a tasty addition to various things
