His senses kicked in slowly - What happened to him? He was with Ryou at a bar just having a couple of drinks as they normally would. There was a sudden pain in his arm when he tried to touch it he quickly realised that his hands were bound behind his back. The fact that he was bound to a chair was probably something he should have realized sooner.

He scowled at him. “Then don’t make promises you can’t keep, Ryou. You need to sort yourself out and get it together, instead of whining at me like a child that it’s too hard. Don’t be so pathetic.”

“What’re you doing?” He perched up on his tip-toes to see over Ryou’s shoulder.

Akefia hummed softly, wrapping his arms around Ryou tightly from behind, enveloping in a warm hug. His head hit the other’s shoulder as he continued to hum a soft tune.

He pressed a kiss to the other’s shoulder-blade, squeezing him lightly.

Honestly, this is probably the most terrible idea he has ever had yet. Bakura won’t even deny that to himself. Apparently dying again did not help him come up with better plans. Now he stood outside the very same place his ex-host lives. Literally right outside the door to his apartment. There’s no backing out now so he puts on his signature cocky smile and knocks.

It isn’t like he had really any others places or people to go to.

“Been awhile, my dear landlord.”
