DON'T GIVE UP ! Are you discouraged due to deteriorating health, failure in business, relationships, exams, career, politics and what have you; to the extent that you don't want to live anymore? Don't give up! Great men and women who succeeded in life were persistent people. The Bible says, there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses (DEUTERONOMY 34:10-12). One of the keys to the success of Moses, was his unyielding persistence. Moses confronted Pharaoh again and again without giving up until he succumbed to his demands. Likewise, the Great Apostle Paul labored more abundantly than all the apostles (1 CORINTHIANS 15:10), because of his unyielding persistence. No matter what happened to Paul, he never, ever gave up (2 CORINTHIANS 11:23-33; ROMANS 8:35, 37-39). All great men and women from all walks of life who changed the world for the better like Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison, Orville and Wilbur Wright, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, just to name a few; were similarly persistent. CHRISTIAN_ARMY_MEN_STEAL_THE_SHOW_IN_LIKASI_CRUSADE. By BZKIM According to the #Chairman of the DR Congo #Likasi #Crusade Organizing Committee, Bishop #Samuel #Mwamba Lubilanji, the Gospel Crusade was a joint effort of a total of more than 800 #Churches. In order to achieve the Crusade’s success, each Church was assigned to carry out a particular task for God’s glory. For #example, the Churches in the #Military #Barracks were assigned to the Crusade’s #Security. As we all know, things can quickly get out of hand when dealing with events with multitudes of people; however, these Christian #Army men did a very commendable job of ensuring security at the Crusade grounds under very difficult challenges and circumstances, due to the unpredictable security situation in DR Congo. Likewise, the other Churches also did a great and marvelous work in other areas like prayer, ushering etc. It is noteworthy to mention that, on #Sunday, the last day of the Crusade, the Pastors and #Elders of the Churches in the Army Barracks, went up to the #platform and gave a short word of thanks to #God for the great success of the Gospel Crusade. In their remarks that stole the show, one of the men in uniform said, “Bishop #Zachary Kakobe, you have been such a blessing to us. As you go to preach the Good News all over the globe, tell the world that, we, army men from Likasi, DR Congo, are committed to following #Jesus Christ as well as serving Him. We encourage everyone out there to accept Jesus #Christ as their Lord and personal #Savior, before it is too late!” Thereafter, Bishop Kakobe thanked the Christian soldiers for their service and #blessed them. On that same Sunday, Bishop Kakobe took time in the morning to visit 15 among the 800 Churches which jointly organized the Crusade. He spent an average of ten minutes in each Church encouraging new believers in their new life in Christ and blessing the Churches.
