"EVENING SEA" BY PAT POWERS 506
WHO IS PAT POWERS AND WHERE CAN I FIND MORE OF HIS WORK? THIS PIECE WAS HANGING ON THE WALL OF ONE OF MY PATIENTS. I LOVED IT SO MUCH SHE LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF IT. SHE TOLD ME ABOUT HOW SHE BOUGHT IT AT A DOLLAR STORE YEARS AGO IN THE 70'S OR 80'S. I THINK IT'S MAGICAL AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE OF THIS MAN'S WORK.

Nelson, Powers engage in Twitter battle
This morning, U.S. Senate candidate Stace Nelson and Republican blogger Pat Powers engaged in a vitriolic Twitter war that I found striking, after Nelson decided to advertise on the liberal blog Madville Times. Here's the exchange:
Original poster for Ub Iwerks' ComiColor Cartoon, "Summertime" (1935).
Vintage ad for Pat Powers' COMICCOLOR CARTOONS. "The Film Daily," 1-9-35.
