Title: Fight Pairing: Patrick Stump x Y/N Requested?: No Word Count: POV: 1st Person Prompt: "It's not nearly as bad as it looks, darling." A/N: I pictured Soul Punk! Patrick when I wrote this. Kinda short. Fights were something that neither Patrick nor I participated in. Up until today. As usual, we were walking in the park. Cliche but still scenic. I seen a figure coming towards us but I thought nothing of it. Apparently, Patrick did because his grip on my hand tightened. The person didn't pass without uttering something inappropriate. I couldn't tell exactly what he said but Patrick did. He quickly spun around and yelled for the guy. "Excuse me. What did you say about my girlfriend?" He was polite about it, as always. The guy smirked and winked at me. I felt extremely uncomfortable in the current situation and I'm pretty sure Patrick noticed. "I said she had a nice shape. Nothing wrong with that." The same creepy smile came back on his face as he looked right at me. Patrick visibly tensed. He looked in my direction and, once he noticed how uncomfortable I looked, he decided to do something about it. "There is something wrong with that, you bastard!" Patrick yelled, stepping closer to the guy. He let go of my hand even as I tried to stop him from going any closer. "Patrick, please-" I started. Patrick gave me a sympathetic smile and started marching faster. Once he actually got to the guy, Patrick was quick to act in my defense. "Listen, asshole. That's my girlfriend and she doesn't need to be talked to that way." He spat. The guy was significantly taller than Patrick and he as the one who threw the first punch. I screamed as Patrick stumbled backwards. His nose was bloody from the blow but it didn't seem to faze him. At all. In fact, it only fueled the fire. I ran to Patrick and tried to stop him from going back. "Patrick, stop!" I yelled but the attempt was futile. He ignored me and walked easily to the man. Punching him in the stomach, Patrick must've finally accomplished what he meant to do. He walked back to me. I was practically crying and shaking. That wasn't all though. The guy got off the ground and came back for more. He hit Patrick in the face. Whatever ring he had on his finger cut Patrick's face, making it start bleeding too. He was going to go back. And then he looked at me. Patrick's facial expression was now one of concern and regret. Even though his nose was the one bleeding profusely, he looked concerned for me. "I'm sorry, Y/N." He said as the two of us started walking home. "Maybe we should go to the hospital." I suggested. Let's just say my suggestion was slightly overlooked. We went home instead because Patrick claimed that I knew what I was doing more than a doctor would. As soon as we walked in the door, I dragged Patrick upstairs so that I could stop the bleeding in his nose and on his cheek. He followed with little protest. He sat on the toilet while I went through the medicine cabinet. Alcohol swabs, bandages and pills of different kinds were put out on the counter. Patrick chuckled, putting his head back. "It's not nearly as bad as it looks, darling." He pulled my wrist and forced me to stand in front of him. "You look beautiful when you're concerned." "You're not sweet-talking your way out of this one." I crossed my arms and tried to look mad. Easily, Patrick put a tissue up to it and tipped his head back even more. "I love you." He sang rather loudly. He pulled me by the wrist again, making me sit on his left thigh. "I love you too, you idiot."
