OK GENUINELY THOUGH YES??? i could absolutely see it happening and have been sooooo endeared to the idea since first watching the show & reading the manga. like they've got the chemistry it's totally there!! and i've been rly enjoying the little back and forths we've got going <3 so hell yeah ( also always so down to throw other muses at him and see how they get along!! )

It would seem she had indeed worried for nothing after having rushed over when Hakkai mentioned a guy from his class was in a fight. The girl was out of breath by the time she got here, confused as she took a minute to let the adrenaline & fast heart settle. Did he really take on all these guys by himself while coming out practically unscathed? Yuzuha couldn't believe it.

❝ AH — ❞ RUSALKA'S COORDINATION COULD certainly use work. as it is, turning the corner, she nearly slams right into the boy who has, for an indeterminate time, been standing behind her and watching the strange scene unfold: streetlights blinking out, a blast of light like a flashbang grenade originating from the center of a girl, the two men accosting her falling into a stunned, slightly-scorched heap.

to her credit, there is a valiant attempt to slam on the proverbial brakes. but the momentum is too much. before she can ram into the unfamiliar body, however, he dodges as gracefully as a dancer and extends an arm out to catch her fall instead.

today has been a rollercoaster. the language barrier was hard enough. accidentally burning two men with a power she barely understands was hard enough. but a witness?

for a moment she simply stares, completely bewildered, at the placid and one-eyed face above her. then, when her mind finally catches up, the dizzied shock morphs into red-cheeked humiliation. ❝ i-i'm so sorry! ❞ english, unthinkingly, her voice a posh british lilt. ❝ i nearly knocked you over!! ❞
