I fix my husband's jeans a lot, because he does physical labor and insufficiently fears the chainsaw.
The pair I've been using as a patch donor is just about used up, I think. Luckily I have plenty more.

Sigh... These are going to be a challenge to mend in a way that doesn't look stupid. I have a plan - involving bias tape & color matching the thread - so we'll see how it goes.
Boyfriend ripped his work jeans so we patched them. I showed him a basic stitch and he worked on the patch for a little bit.
So I just discovered a hole in the crotch of my favorite jeans, and now I’m wondering how the freak long I’ve been going around with a spot of my underwear showing. Fortunately, I’m very good at patching jeans... that’s one of the things that become necessary to learn when you’re as broke as me... so I guess I know how I’m spending the rest of my night. Dang it.
please, someone, anyone, explain how you patch jeans?
i may just give up and buy some shorts from pop.
