The Loud House-No Such Luck/Frog Wild/Patching Things Up/Cheater By the Dozen Recap
This week in the loud house, the Loud sisters believe that Lincoln is cursed with bad luck, Lana tries to save the frogs, Lola and Lana join the girl scouts and Lincoln thinks Bobby might be cheating. Spoilers below.
No such luck- Lincoln feels tired having to go all to his sisters stuff all the time and wants to be alone. Growing up with four siblings I can relate. But when Lincoln goes to Lynn game, she blames him for her loss due to sports superstitions. Growing up in a family with sports fans, I can also relate.Lincoln encourages rumors of bad luck so he can get some alone time but it goes to far when his family kicks him out of the house. I get this is supposed karma, but having the parents join in pushed it to far into mean spirited. 1 1/2 risky business dances out of 4.
Frog Wild- Now this was great. Frog dissection is one of those thing I see people doing in television that I’ve never did when I was in school. Also included that test when you pretend an inanimate object is a baby and doge ball. Lincoln’s class has to dissect a frog. Lana, who has a pet frog, convinces him to free the frogs. A nice bonding episode with Lana and Lincoln and the ending line cracked me up. 3 1/2 frogs out of 4.
Patching things up- This was a great sweet episode about the twins bonding. The two join the (not) girl scouts, at first the tom boy Lana does great, but soon the more girly task begin to surface and than it’s Lola earning the patches. But the two learn to appreciate each other and it’s rally sweet. The only problem is that there’s a pointless subplot of Lincoln and Clyde looking for girl scout cookies. 3 1/2 patches out of 4.
Cheater by the dozen-Bobby’s and Lori’s anniversary is coming up but Lincoln and Clyde see Bobby with several other girls so they become convinced that Bobby is cheating on Lori. But it turns out that they were just his coworkers and were helping him prepare the anniversary. Who could have seen this coming. Everyone. I can see Clyde thinking that, but I really like Lincoln’s and Bobby relationship and I had hoped he would have given Bobby more credit. Also since you can see the ending from several miles away, it makes the episode kind of boring. 1 1/2 dates out of 4.
Also, where’s Ronnie Anne? She like my third favorite character and we haven’t seen her all season.
