Many of us seem to enjoy painting the @wizkidsgames D&D and/or Pathfinder minis, and for good reason. They have above average sculpts and are very affordable. However, the fact that they are pre-primed, IMHO, is not necessarily a bonus. In fact I always end up re-priming them after removing burs and mold lines. . Also, recently, I had the primer peel off of one in a fairly large chunk because someone at the factory likely didn't do a good job of cleaning off the release agent from it being in the mold and then over did it on the primer. . So, make sure you check your minis folks - you don't want to spend time painting something to have it all just peel off afterwards. ;-) . Medium Earth and Air Elementals . This completes the set of medium El from @wizkidsgames . Earth was primed with @vallejocolors Surface Primer black then airbrushed with @applebarrelcrafts Pewter Grey. That was followed by painting the clear gemstone bits different colors then a wash with @gamesworkshop Citadel Nuln Oil and finally a dry brush with Apple Barrel Nutmeg Brown and Khaki mixed together. . Air was super simple. Just a primer coat of Testors Dullcoat and a dry brush of @vallejocolors Azure and White mixed together. Then I based it with some vape cotton. .
