Pathfinder 3
With breadcrumbs unseen
Pathfinder beckoned me
To the space where words, limits, structure
Are obsolete.
Clear and serene
Not to find his form
But To discover
me.

The Pathfinder: Part 2
Pathfinder left crumbs for me To follow For when I regained my sanity. He knew I’d flee, but perfectly knew me. Waist deep in crystalline water The breeze sings to me Through resplendent trees. He’s reaching Calling. A voice without direction.
Visions burst forth Memories Of the lessons he taught me. Held my hand -Oh, how he held my hand- And I’m treading again. I have to be on top of it Serene Focus To find my path Back to the pathfinder.
Sometimes the fog rolls in And its hard to see. Sometimes I can’t feel him reaching for me (Is he silent? Or is it me?) But I hold on to memories, The warmth of his hand to guide me.
When I reach him Will he be waiting for me? Or be bleeding Beneath a tree. It matters not to me. The rhythm of my steps To the pathfinder Sets me free.
The Pathfinder
Pathways led me here Lonesome on the trail Dirt roads, worn hills Alone until The pathfinder finds me.
He says he followed the sound of light Until it led to my horizon. Energy and glances shared No words, no thoughts spared. Then, set we, to the water’s edge.
He taught me how to tread How to track How to listen to the breeze Watch the movement of the trees. He led me to that waters edge How he spoke of it so lovingly Face lit up with ecstasy.
There I found a reflection I was not ready to see. I, in him And he in me. He must have primed me Instructed me to witness But I missed the lesson The fault lie not in him, But me.
The pathfinder’s lessons Still guide me on my path And though the smell was on the wind I didn’t detect where it would lead. Until today.
Where am I going? Where have we really been? My mind may forget, But the heart never will. If my feet can’t take me Then Will the wind.
