“I dunno. Probably. Did I ?” He did—recalls the sweet, salty taste of the words on his tongue, even. Doesn’t recall the precise context, though. Now, was it accusatory ? Inflammatory ? Affectionate ? Could be any, given the lips it slipped from. At the moment, he’s feeling affectionate.
Griss coils his arms around Pandreo’s waist, rests his chin on his shoulder. “You’re not all put out about it, are you ? Want me to beg your forgiveness ? —‘cause I will, if that’s what you want.”
🔥 - whomst finds pandreo attractive?

"Well," Rosado twirls his finger in his hair idly as he thinks. "You do have to admire that spirit, don't you? But I don't think that's the kind of attractive you're asking about, is it?" He giggles. "He's a little too old for me, but I don't think he needs to worry about how people see him."

Alear is quiet for a long time. They've never had the time or space to explore those kinds of feelings, but that question? It makes them think about it. They enjoy spending time with him - a lot, in fact. And sure, he's easy on the eyes, there's no question there. His attitude to life, his whole being, it draws Alear to him.
"I don't know," they finally mumble. They do know, but thinking it and saying it are two different things. "I have to go." And with that, they flee.

"I am not answering the question." Mauvier folds his arms across his chest, defensive. "Are we not too old for these games?" Of course, it's what he doesn't say that one should listen to - he doesn't say no. Not exactly, at least. He's simply refusing to answer. Perhaps he would be interested. Perhaps not. Unfortunately, protecting Veyle keeps him far too busy to pine.

"I do." It's not like a thousand years have given Byleth shame or tact. What does he have to lose by admitting it? Even if Pandreo knows, what then? It's not as if anything could happen between them. It's not as if Byleth can reach over and touch his face. There's no use in playing games. There's no use in prolonging what can never be.
@pathofemblems ; ask answered
( from pandreo, to marni )
you keep looking at them with sad puppy eyes every time their back is turned.
It was a miracle Marni had survived what should have been her downfall. The moment of utter betrayal by someone she looked up to. Someone she considered to be her family, almost like a real mother unlike the biological one who had abandoned her.
Yet for a second time in her life, she had been discarded as useless. Just like when she was younger. A feeling that hurt far more than the wound that knife left her.
Yet how did she find herself in this position after everything that had happened? For Zephia and Griss to change sides and fight for the Divine Dragon, who was kind enough to take her in. Everytime she saw their faces, rage filled her... fear, sadness, it was all there. But she couldn’t show them. There was no need to talk to them. Not after what happened...
All Marni was left with was confusion. Unable to understand what she was to do with her mixed emotions. And still, despite everything, there was longing. Longing to go back to the time when she truly felt like she had a real family.
“Ah! You surprised me...“ She jerked and turned her head to look at the man who disturbed her thoughts. It wasn’t like her to be caught off guard in a moment of vulnerability but all she could do was frown and put up her walls again.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.“ Her arms folded. “They’ve already shown how much I’m worth to them. The audacity they have to appear in front of me again... I want nothing to do with them.“

physical contact / accepting
“Left a mark, too. Whoops,” he deadpans in a way that betrays no real guilt. Said bite had been committed on the flat of Pandreo’s neck, left perfectly exposed by his more relaxed daily attire. Griss certainly would have gone for his throat sooner were it not for that stuffy red collar the priest usually wears.
He rests his chin on Pandreo’s shoulder, angled in a way that threatens another bite—if he’s the mind for it. A second one would surely break skin, pressed into the same pale white indents already courtesy of his fangs...
His heavy arm drapes lazily over Pandreo’s other shoulder and hangs there. From here, Griss gazes down at the object of Pandreo’s attention: a spellbook. Probably trying to memorize a new spell. Requires a lot of focus, that. No wonder he’d been so rudely ignored.
“You weren’t listening.” Or the echo of an unsaid grumble: pay attention to me.

"Temenos, there's... Goodness, there is blood on your hands! Are you alright?!" The knight started hovering over the priest, starting to worry the other got hurt during their last battle and didn't tell him.
He wouldn't be surprised if Temenos didn't even feel he was bleeding. But, looking at it more carefully, he noticed there was blood on his staff too and-
"...Wait. Actually, I don't like where this is going..."
( from louis, to amber ) “*blows you a kiss*”
silent / action starters
His first reflex is to catch it with a grin and then wave at Louis, the fist where he caught the kiss closed.
Until he realizes what he just did and hides his face in his hands in embarrassment... And then he realizes he just freed the kiss from his hand by doing so and it probably landed somewhere on his face, and he runs away, red from even more embarrassment.
Face still hidden, kiss still on his face, even more embarrassment happening. Rinse and repeat.
“I’m still so sorry we made you wait a little longer to celebrate your birthday, Prince Diamant, but hey! Hopefully this party makes you forgive us juuust a bit!” Despite still feeling nervous around the heir of Brodia after their last encounter, all it took was a good shindig to bring back out Pandreo’s usual outgoing, rambunctious ways. As their allies circled round the table that the prince was forced to sit at, the priest carefully placed the finest cake before him. Quickly, Fogado interjected, slinking up behind Pandreo to slip an arm over the priest’s shoulder and draw him close, his attention on Diamant with a cupidic grin. “Before he forgets—wait, he told you, right? In Solm, it’s tradition to give the Birthday Boy a kiss on the cheek before he blows out his candles.” Pandreo blanched. “For good luck and all that. Some say it should be as many kisses as years turned.”
Fogado gently cupped Pandreo’s chin to pull him closer, planting a loud, wet kiss on the clergyman’s cheek, who’d gone rigid, shoulders hiked up as his nose wrinkled in protest. Bunet snuck in a smooch on the opposing cheek for good measure. “Just like that! Oh, but Pandreo here can give you the ones from me and Bunet. Hope you don’t mind, Prince Diamant. Happy birthday!” The Solmic prince beamed as he patted then slapped his retainer’s cheek to emphasize his point before easing back with Bunet. Suddenly serious, Fogado dipped his head in respect and left.
“I’m sorry—“ Another apology, another day where Pandreo couldn’t win in front of Prince Diamant, reduced to a blushing, incoherent mess. But still, he found himself taking the challenge, kneeling over and giving the elder a perfect kiss on the cheek. Yet instead of a happy birthday wish after, Pandreo immediately pulled back as if he’d been burned. It was time to strangle a certain Solmic royal as Diamant enjoyed his celebration!
Diamant couldn't help but laugh at their shenanigans, euphory taking over as he definitely was feeling elated at the celebration.
"Why are you apologizing, I do not mind?" On the contrary, he even leaned a bit into the kiss, years and years of growing up with a father who showered affection on his sons at every occasion, cheek kisses were nothing new to him, he even liked it to be honest. They showed the people giving them had affection for the people they gave them to and it always made him smile.
Of course he had been surprised at Fogado's words, totally ignorant of said tradition, he really never heard about it, but he was leaning new things everyday since he joined the Divine Dragon's ranks, so-
"Oh, Pandreo, wait. He got up, snatching a piece of the other's sleeve in his fingers to stop him from leaving or something. He smiled at the priest, fondly, before leaning down and giving a kiss on his own, because his father was also always asking for kisses back when they were kids, a normal way to show their affection back for the man.
So, why wouldn't he do the same thing for Pandreo? He did feel a deep affection for him too, after all. "Thank you. For everything, I mean. I wasn't expecting people to celebrate my birthday, especially in such circonstances, so it made me happy you went out of your way to do all of this for me. Oh, thank your prince too for his involvement in it too."
He straightened up then, suddenly looking serious, an eyebrow going up in curiosity. "I hope... I hope giving a kiss back isn't going against that tradition? My apologies if I did something I shouldn't have!" He just realized what was considered normal in Brodia may not be in Solm... Here to hoping he didn't upset Pandreo with his actions!
