Yohuna - Patientness Happy New Music Friday!
Yesterday, Yohuna shared the newest single from her upcoming debut LP Patientness. “Golden Foil” is another peek at what’s to come, and the song has a different heaviness in comparison to her last single “The Moon Hangs in the Sky Like Nothing Hangs in the Sky”. This new single has an eerily calm mood to it and Yohuna’s lingering vocals are further emphasized with the lightness in her voice compared to the darker songwriting. The pacing of “Golden Foil” is slow and it’s the kind of slow that makes your bones ache. There’s like a little flute-like layer that stays consistent throughout the track and it’s kind of a nice little tidbit that keeps the song light even though there is some serious weight.
Patientness will be released on September 9 via Orchid Tapes.
