She's from a small planetown you've never heard of.

Journey had to file her intent to settle on pla purchase a home. Her people take that sort of thing seriously.

She liked the thrill of putting it off, but then spaced out and missed the deadline.

And thus, she got the boot.

Now, she's a stranger in a strange Roaring Heights land. She's looking to make the best of where she finds herself, even if it seemed like an unlucky destination.

It doesn't yet feel like home, but maybe if her heart is in it?

She has some ideas for how to make Roaring Heights perfect, so she will become the Leader of the Free World to make it happen. Logically?!

About the legacy:

I have lifespan set to Epic.

Journey's long life will change her, and the town of Roaring Heights. As her resources grow, she will be able to enact more and more changes around town.

By the time the next generation is ready to take over, Roaring Heights will feel like home. At least, to Journey.

The heir will see things differently and will head to a different town.

The legacy will last, at most, 3 generations.

Hello! I used to play a lot. But then I had some illnesses and my computer broke and then Origin didn't work. I gave up on the Sims.

The new app seems to be functional. I'm as surprised as anyone. Gold Star EA, do not ruin it. (Oh, they ruined the sims already okey dokey)

I'm easing in slowly. The long life of Journey and the limited goal of only updating and changing what she can afford at the time will give me time to remember how to make CC, etc.

I currently only have World Adventures, Seasons, and Showtime installed for their items. But I'll be chucking more and more things at my computer as I go. Wish it luck!

Date night with Donna, who is Journey's Gal Pal.

Gals Being Pals.

As soon as the date was over Journey went home and wished for another date. My heart!

Babe, Donna has children and you live in a tent. You're not aging up for over 300 days, so there's no hurry.

Journey learned something.

She learned that it's difficult to focus on promotions when your sugar pie honey love, who said she needed some time and space, works one cubicle over.

Donna was, as always, kind and good hearted and a joy to have as a co-worker.

But being just coworkers with Donna didn't really cut it.

Whenever anyone, including Journey, tried to make plans with her, the answer was the same - "I have things to take care of first. Maybe in a few weeks."

Months passed, and Donna firmly refused to discuss anything personal at work.

When the summer fair opened, Journey was delighted to the point of a near death experience to get an invitation from Donna.

"You silly goose, I needed to get the kids and divorce settled. But I'm all yours, now."

"What sort of lowdown snake husband would cheat on my beloved?"

Journey knows that the residents of Roaring Heights are mad at her, but surely they should be mad at David Morgan and Samantha Cassat. They're the ones who manufactured a baby without permits, or whatever it is they do here. Thus, she wants to know what sort of lowly dirt clod he is. There's probably good reasons not to invite herself over, but she forgot them.

Donna had said she saw the texts between David and Samantha, but told no one. Journey forgot that, too.

Sure, Samantha has started a new romance with Henry Simovitch, who is old and smells like he grills bologna in mechanical grease. (And who better live long enough to be a generous political donor.) Journey reluctantly respects Samantha's choice of new partner, despite the weird smell. But she still hurt her beloved's feelings. A crime!

Donna is concerned, but David doesn't care. So what if his wife met another woman? All the boys at work are jealous. He told her it's fine as long as she plays her part.

"How can you feel lucky when your personality is lacking?"

"Pardon?!" David isn't impressed, but it's Journey who has to leave before her emotions get the best of her.

After Donna went home to figure things out, Journey changed her hair.

Also, her face.

A known strategy for cheering up during relationship strife.

"I can't believe you showed up at my house!"

Journey squared her shoulders. She had prepared a whole mental spreadsheet of the pros and cons of Donna staying in her toxic marriage. The pros of leaving outnumbered the pros of staying by 48 to one*. It was impossible to know what the future would bring, but it was impossible to care about someone and watch them linger in such a painful situation.

"Donna, I-"

"Journey, it opened my eyes! My marriage is done!"

"Oh. Oh right. Oh."

Journey had a mental spreadsheet that she needed a moment to file away.

"Donna, you're amazing!"

"Oh, hold on. Journey, my life just changed. I'm going to need a while to figure myself out."

"Oh. Oh right. Oh."

*Journey lives in a tent and Donna has three children.

Journey's friend, Donna Morgan, came over to blow off steam.

Should Journey ask Donna to leave her unhappy marriage? Will it hurt her political aspirations to break up a marriage and also put human children to work in the victory garden?

Most importantly, will it interfere with Journey's quest for the perfect potato?
