Ryo ate rice every day during their filming in the UK & brought his own mini rice cooker which was shaped like a bento box and made cooks just one portion of rice. In the mornings, he makes onigiri for lunch & gives some to the director Patrick & Lily Franky. Lily said his onigiri with perilla leaves were delicious & Patrick loved them too. Lily (and the director Patrick Dickinson) said that Ryo giving out his handmade onigiri to them was almost mother-like.
