Patrick Green - Flor Del Mar (Re Dub)
2012 - Soulful House
Sofitone dropped a few years ago an amazing sultry spoken word piece, courtesy of DJ/Producer Patrick Green and spoken word artist Will Barnes and produced by Deep House leader at the moment, Dj Rocco. It's now a new Era in 2012, and man of the moment, Nemo a.k.a Pashaa sizzles and brings a total make over of the classic master piece to suit the new direction taken by new sister label QUAM.

I started writing stories again..
Here's the beginning to a story I started writing. It's about fairies. Feedback would be great!
Patrick Green could count by twos and tie his shoes-oh wait, that’s Franklin. Patrick is certainly not a young turtle but rather a grown man. He may rather be a turtle so that he could hide away in his shell when life became too real for his liking. Maybe in an alternate universe Patrick is a turtle. But, Patrick the turtle undoubtedly lives a boring, sheltered life much unlike Patrick the human’s.
One day Patrick woke at the crack of noon with a reminder from last night. In other words, Patrick emerged from the world of slumber with a slight hangover. Patrick could not hold his liquor as well as he could a few years prior. For, Patrick was no longer a party animal. He still went out ever weekend, more due to a feeling of obligation to his cohorts than an appreciation for their company.
As a member of the entertainment industry, Patrick knew the value of social connections. He knew if he wanted funding for his current and future musical endeavors, he had to remain in the public eye. He had to not only remain but also remain being viewed in a positive light. It was a small sacrifice to pay in return for the absolute freedom he felt when working on a project. Being a master puppeteer allowed him to feel the sense of total control he craved in his personal life.
Maybe he wouldn’t need so much outside funding if his projects weren’t so involved and intricate. However, his projects were, in a word, huge. He once commissioned a one hundred strong gospel choir, the New York Philharmonic, the band Aerosmith, and a drum line to fill Madison Square Garden and perform a mix of his original songs.
Thus, Patrick knew how to put on a show, both in his career and his personal life. His parties were legendary because of the endless entertainment he provided, decadent food he served, and expensive gift bags every guest let with. Where Patrick learned to perform is an odd tale, though.
As Patrick saw it, he was inflicted with a disease. Others would consider it a gift (and a very valuable one at that). But to Patrick, it was a burden. He loathed having the Sight. Whenever he glimpsed the pixies in his garden, a troll out for a night stroll in the city, or heard the beautiful voices of the forest calling to him he froze. He adopted a stop, drop, and roll strategy to ignore the fey. If he heard, saw, or sensed a faery, he immediately stopped, dropped whatever he was doing, hopped in his convertible and rolled away.
