Gloss vinyl stickers for Patrick Schmidt
Basketball was invented in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1891 by Dr. James Naismith, a physical education instructor. He created the game as a way to keep his students active indoors during the cold winter months. Naismith used a soccer ball and a peach basket for the first hoops!
For more information on the different types of materials I offer and the stickers I can create for you, feel free to get in touch!

Okay so the first part of this is not like the coolest most impressive thing Iāve ever seen ever, but whatever, who says this dance needs to be impressive all the time anyway, thatās just unrealistic.
This dance really demonstrates a concept Iāve been thinking about and working on the past two years or so and thatās the idea of really dancing in a manner that the music calls for. I feel like as a beginner and even intermediate dancer, I was so bombarded with,Ā āwhere is your pulse**? youāre not pulsing enough! why arenāt your knees completely bent??ā
**apparentlyĀ āpulseā is the new taboo word we donāt use anymore when we teach lindy hop. srsly every event Iāve been to this year has talked about pulse like it is this horrible word that weāve overrused and killed and we should never use again. And yes, while I agree that maybe weāve overused it, I think the other extreme is equally lame.**
Anyway (back to the point), I think these two are dong an awesome job of respecting the music and adjusting their dances to the energy of the music. There are really energetic parts which end up having more pulse (gasp! I said it!) and energy, and there are slower parts that have a smoother and slightly more upright feel, and it totally works! Just because weāre lindy hoppers doesnāt mean we need to dance the same way to every song, or even dance the same way during a single song.Ā
Sidenote: A+++ leading and following at 1:10 in. Classic me almost always has an anxiety attack when leads do shadow charleston variations.
PS: They placed first!
Fact: About 2 years ago the Rooster Teeth Store was full of merch primarily designed by me.
Better Fact: Nowadays the store is full of art made by other awesome illustrators and designers that I have the privilege of working with.
Shout out to Beth Kerner (RvB Cast Poster), Tom Lusardi (Neptune Shirt) & Patrick Schmidt (X-Ray Shirt). Great artists all of them.
