'Nevertheless we are able to fly' SOLO SHOW PATRICK VERTENTEN 02 - 25 OCTOBER 2020   OPENING 2 OCTOBER 15 - 19 H This exhibition tries to shed a modest, incomplete light on our society… … with metaphors about the search for harmony and consensus, with mythological figures about nature and arrogance. It’s about leadership and obstacles that make it difficult to move forward together. Or should we rather take a step backwards and choose a different, softer path? Economic growth is not sustainable, because the planet is not growing along with it. However, despite our differences, we are inseparably connected with each other, nature and the planet, and we must try to overcome those differences. It might be a gloomy picture, but there is hope; because nevertheless we are able to fly. Following the Covid 19 Belgian government regulations we take care of each other using a mask - keeping 1,5 m social distancing and cleaning hands at the entry of the gallery. Apologise, no drinks can be serve this time, but we guarantee you a inspiring and safe visit to the exhibition.
