So this came out surprisingly well?????? Like I’m actually so happy with how it came out!!!!

Patron Warrior explanation:

So I have a headcannon that, if a cat truly makes a mark in history, they become a permanent sorta spirit being! I’ve seen other people with this headcannon, and I saw one post (I couldn’t find it again :( I’d credit it if I did) suggesting calling them Patron Saints, which I fell in love with! I changed it to Patron Warrior, cause I thought it would suit the world better :)

This is a sort of combination of the ‘Gray Wing is Silverpelt’ head cannon and my Patron Warrior head cannon! Gray Wing is Silverpelt, the Patron Warrior of all Clan Cats! I thought this would suit him best because he had a hand in creating ALL the clans as well as traditions! (I just finished book 4 of Dawn of the Clans, so I might be missing smths)

I also like to thing that as cats that become Patron Warriors grow older and more time passes by, they start taking a form more literal to their name! In Gray Wings case, it had a sort of double way! He grew grey wings for his old name, and his pelt began reflecting the night sky and holding constellations of cats who had faded away in it as his name was remembered as Silverpelt over time!

I based this drawing off of Patron Saint cards I’ve seen my grandma have, which is why it’s bordered like that! I’m planning on making more, though it will be a wee bit trickier to figure out the names of the other dotc cats I have planned.

Riverstar!

I had a vague idea of what I wanted him to be, and as I began to design it it became clearer and clearer! :)

Patron Explanation:

I put the river marks of Riverclans symbol in his chest fur, and I put fish in his tail. (The fish move and swim around, maybe one day I’ll animate it!) I also gave him the stars that all leader Patrons have! I made him blue like the river, and made him a fluffy Riverclan cat. :)

Another patron warrior! I’m doing all the leaders from dotc first, the modern cats are waaaay harder to do

I don’t like it as much as Gray Wings, but I think it came out pretty good!

Explanation:

Like Gray Wing, I wanted there to be a bit of literalness to her name. I was honestly having a hard time with her because all my initial ideas leaked into ideas I had for a different cat. So I asked my friends and they helped out, and I came up with this.

She had no line art because, as her name suggests, she’s made of shadows! She also has a few twinkles and other sparklies in her pelt, because I decided to make it that way for all Patron Warriors who were leaders! (I kept stars, shooting stars and constellations out of her pelt to keep her unique)

All my friends suggested smoke coming out of her fur, but like I said before, that kind of overlaps with an idea I have for another cat. So instead, I made her paws a smokey glowing color.

I also gave her the flower frame because the first thing that drew her towards Shadowclan territory was its flowers <3

This one took quite a few tries! Windsar is next up, but uh, expect a bit of a delay with her cause I still don’t rlly know what to do with her design...

Patron Explanation:

Pretty basic one, this time around! His name is Thunderstar, so I make lightning course through his fur! I put storm clouds on his paws as sort of an homage to Gray Wing, who has morning clouds on his fur. This is cause Gray Wing is Thunders REAL dad ;)

This is definetely the worst one so far LOL

Honestly, Windstar was suuuuper hard, I had no fuckin clue what to do with her. All my friends that I asked for help were also like “Idfk”

Patron Explanation:

Not a lot to explain here! The swirls in her fur next to the sparkles are supposed to be the symbol of WindClan and the mist surrounding her is all the wind of the moor gathering around her!

Here’s the Patron Warrior Gray Wing draft drawing for anyone that wanted it:

I canned this version because I wasn’t at all happy with it :( I thought the background looked generally fine, but Gray Wing himself I was VERY unhappy with. I didn’t give him enough stars, his colors were bad and I hadn’t figured out how I wanted names to be handled yet. I don’t like how his expression turned out, nor his eyes or fur or design in general. I had a very rough time trying to get the end of his tail to blend, but as you can tell I kept that in the final version. Honestly he looks more like River Ripple than Gray Wing :(

The only reason I’m posting this version too is cause it took way too long not too :(

Finally broke down and crafted an ice block. Reno Mage was fun before, now it might even be good enough.

Next craft is probably a Brawl. I’ve been laddering in wild with Patron Warrior. Go wide decks can be an issue if they’re midsized. A Justicar Trueheart would be nice but I’ve got to be careful about the legendaries I craft

When ever I loose a few games I always pull out my “Murfurion” deck to see how it holds up because it either crushes, or looses horribly.  This poor patron warrior had no clue that the warleader needed to be dealt with.  rawr.
