An unknown Cuerna sharpshooter from Fossil Butte National Monument.
You can tell because I did not photoshop out the fibers and lep scales on its lovely patterned body. There are so many groups like this, is there not!, that have their own way conformity of body shape, pattern and coloration. Harder to turn the other way when we parking lot our natural environments, knowing these things are driven out like so many gray wolves, carolina parakeets, and buffalo.
