Refining Legacy-The Patterson Legacy

Hellen and her father, Commander Jeremiah Patterson are decedents of Master Assassin, Liam O’Brien. So we will bring you all a brief summery of a family refined.
During the fall of the assassins in 1759 or 1760, Liam watched the brotherhood being destroyed by the templar Shay Cormac, his formal best friend and brother. He once though he loved Hope Jenson, along with another woman of the brotherhood, but the reality of both women’s intentions for the brotherhood clouded his opportunity. During 1759, after the death of Hope, he turned to friend and assassin informant, Kailey Patterson for comfort. Kailey herself over the years started to love Liam. And after a few weeks in hiding, Liam confessed his growing love to Kailey and had a night of passion before he sailed with Achilles. He died in the northern Arctic as the result of the precursor artifact’s removal.
Months after the night of passion, Kailey discovered that she was with child. And after hearing about Liam’s death, her heart broke and vowed revenge on Cormac; though she never followed through due to a surviving member, Katie Shepherd, convincing her to think of her child. Kailey gave birth to a son named Terrence Brien Patterson IN 1760.
Terrence like his father before him became an assassin and eventually became mentor under the high suggestion of Ratonhnhaké:ton, who recommended Patterson over himself. And as he would quote “Achilles would of had Terrence’s father to oversee the brotherhood, who better to refine a legacy then the son?”
Terrence Patterson’s sons were an impact on the brotherhood. Most of them stayed to aid in the war of 1812 while the few left traveled west to the Louisiana territory to what would eventually be Saint Louis, Missouri. Terrence Patterson founded the regional leads. Omega mentors of each region that must report to the main mentor back east. Terrence passed away in 1828 of age 78.
Not all the sons and grandchildren of Terrence were notable, not until 1830, Issac Patterson, a master assassin fled to Texas with renounced Templar agent turned assassin, Sarah Butler to aid the Mexican and the American assassins on aiding the removal of Mexican templar influence Texas Revolution. Somewhere between 1830 and 1833, Issac and Sarah were married. And in 1835, both found that Sarah was with child. Sarah, along with other women and members of the brotherhood fled to protect the villagers and their unborn child. But before Issac and Sarah part, he made Sarah promise him that if they had a son, name him after a book of the Holy bible.
On February-March of 1836, Issac, under the guise of an soldier to get past the posts, went to the Alamo Mission to aid in the attempted assassination of Santa Anna. Towards the ending of the battle of the Alamo, Issac Patterson gave his life to protect Omega mentor of Texas Republic, Adam Newcastle. His body was recovered by the mexican brotherhood along with the bodies of two other assassins. Sarah received the news by a list of fallen soldiers by surviving soldiers and an assassin.
On March 21st, 1836, Sarah gave birth to a son in an assassin’s camp close to Sam Huston’s camp. True to her word, Sarah opened her small bible, and first book opened was the book of Jeremiah. There, she named her son Jeremiah Roberts Patterson. She stayed with the assassins in training new recruits and breaking codes that the templars tend to use in the newly established telegram. Finally, she and Jeremiah settled near the US Army Department of Texas’s “Camp Worth” (which will be lated named Fort Worth).
Jeremiah was raised to be an assassin, but wasn’t taught of the creed until he was ten year old. There, he’d decided to become an assassin. Skilled with a gun and a talent for horse breaking and riding, Jeremiah became an exceptional assassin. In his early years he only aided in assassinating other assassins in templar affairs and became a brute force. After hearing the results of conflicts as a result of the Kansas-Nebraska act in 1854, eighteen year old Jeremiah was itching to aid the brothers in the Kansas and Missouri border to eliminate a high ranking templar and several dangerous assassin killers and mercenaries from interfering the already delicate situation in the nation. The Omega elegantly advised that merging in the situation as an assassin may raise suspicion upon the scared refugees of abolitionists that take refuge in Kansas. However, Jeremiah thought, like his father, he’d joined the army and merge into the border wars and assassinate without suspicion.
After basic training in the US Texas base, Jeremiah fled north to the Missouri/Kansas border where he was made to the rank of Commander in the Us army Calvary. When he arrived in the later to be known as “Kansas City”, Jeremiah meet a Canadian assassin named Collin Andrews, who joined the Union to not only aid Jeremiah as ordered by the Mentor, but gain his citizenship in the form of serving as well. The two became closer then brothers in both assassin and army standards. Jeremiah aided in the border wars with the assassinations of assassin hunters and high establishments. In 1858, when he and Collin ere camping near present day Kearney, Missouri, Jeremiah rescued secret tobacco farmer, Clara Johnson after some claimed confederates tried to rape her. They established a friendship due to aiding the same views of freedom for all slaves. They’d fallen in love, and whenever Jeremiah had found the time, he’d courted Clara. They were married in 1860 and Jeremiah joined in the side of the Union when the Civil war broke out in ’61. After getting wounded and given a leave of absence, he stayed with his pregnant wife; which unfortunately on September 27th, 1862, Clara died after giving birth to a daughter. After placing the care of Hellen Patience Patterson in the care of Zerelda James, Jeremiah returned to his mission, returning only to see his daughter until when closer to the war, the mentor asked him to aid in the east on eliminating the other high ranking templars.
Jeremiah also aided in the search of John Wilkes Booth after the assassination of president Abraham Lincoln. Jeremiah Patterson was named the bane of the American Templar Rite. Which quoted by the mentor later “You’ve become what Cormac did to the assassins a hundred years ago. And now, the dependent of O’Brian gave the templars their cumumpence.”
Jeremiah’s story is to be told, as well as his daughter, Hellen’s. But this is to show, that Liam O’Brien’s life may had been scorched by the actions of both assassins and templars; however, like refiner’s fire, his legacy will refine the assassins.
