Quick, name three things you love seeing in a Logicality fic
1. Logicality actually bonding over things instead of just "oh he's cute" "oh he's smart".

I changed the prompt a bit and it's a bit short, but I hope you like it!
"Where on earth is that thing??" Logan angrily whispered to himself as he searched through his closet. At this point he had searched almost everywhere. His entire room was covered in his clothes, but his sweater was nowhere to be found.
"You're spending a lot of time in that closet Specks, feeling nostalgic?" Roman tried to reach his friend without tripping over the pile of clothes. "Haha very funny Roman, but no. I was looking for my sweater, you know that Navi-blue one? Have you seen it?" Logan turnes around and started to reorganise the mess that he had made. "Unfortunately, no. Maybe you could ask Patton! He takes care of most of the laundry, maybe that he knows where it is!"
Logan thanked Roman before making his way downstairs. When he was almost in the kitchen, he could hear a soft voice singing along with the radio. He stopped walking for a second, simply just listening to his boyfriend's voice. He slowly walked down the last few steps and leaned against the doorway. Just watching Patton, be Patton. He was making some pancakes and was about to flip them when Logan noticed something. That... that wasn't Patton's sweater he was wearing. The sweater was to big on him and Logan could recognize that navi colour everywhere.
"Are you wearing my sweater?"
Patton turned around and beamed at Logan,
"Yeay! I thought it looked cute on me!" Logan tried to ignore the red blush that spread over his cheeks. Patton was right, he did look good in that sweater. He walked towards Patton and put his arms around his waist. "Mmm I can't argue with that my love. Can I be of any assistance?" Patton giggled and leaned back in Logan's embrace. "I'm fine Lo! Just cuddling would help enough!" And who was Logan to deny that request?

This js going to be logicality, but I don't think anyone is suprised at this point
Let's start this essay shall we?
First, what makes logicality such a great dynamic?
Well, to answer that question, we have to break down the two characters. Let's start with Logan, Logan is a very intelligent and caring 'person'. Knowledge and Thomas' wellbeing seem to be the most important thing for him. He can be very strict and he can lose his temper from time to time. One of his biggest wants is to be respected and be listened to, which is why Logan is also known as 'the teacher' or 'the mom' of the group.
So you might wonder, if he cares about knowledge so much, why ship him with the character that is the embodiment of emotions?
And to answer that question, we have to look at Patton. Patton is 'the dad character'. He has a very caring personality and he loves to make puns. He often puts the wants of others above his own needs, which leads to him hiding his sad emotions from the group. Another side effect from being the dad is that he also can be too strict. However as soon as Patton realizes what he did wrong, he'll do anything to make things right. Patton loves to compliment to others and encourage them to listen to their feelings.
And this is where we start the shipping. Logan has a difficult time accepting his own emotions, he needs someone to listen to him and he loves compliments. Patton needs someone to ground him, someone who keeps a good track of reality and Patton loves to listen to his loved ones.
Logan and Patton are the mind and the heart. A really important balance. Those two need eachother. You can't make a wise decision if you only listen to your heart, and he can't make a happy decision if you only listen to your mind. They balance eachother out and they strengthen eachothers weaknesses.
In the series we see that Logan loves receiving compliments. So that might indicate that one of his love languages is words of affirmation. He loves being told that he is right and he always reacts pretty emotional (and maybe a little arrogant sometimes) when the others compliment him. Another thing I noticed was that Logan, while loving to receive compliments and praisings, rather shows his love without directly saying it. He struggles a lot while telling the others he loves them and takes back his compliment to Patton almost immediately. However we do see in the Moving On episode that Logan gives Patton a gift to make him less sad. This was a surprisingly emotional thing to do for Logan.
Patton on the other hand, loves giving compliments and praising (you see where I'm going with this?). He often tells Roman that he did a good job or that he loves Virgil unconditionally. He also seems to look up to Logan a lot. Patton has often said how smart Logan was, or he asks questions about whatever kind of information Logan shared. This might not seem as really important, but for someone who gets ignored all the time, it means the world when someone is interested in what you say. Patton is also really really really happy when someone gives him a gift. Patton knows that these little things, can say a lot more than a thousand words. He knows what kind of love lays behind the little things.
So in conclusion, Logan need someone to help him to get in touch with his emotions and Patton needs someone to ground him. Those two can really help eachother to get better.

blue eyes and stardust
"Wow" Patton whispered softly, afraid that loud noices would make the stars above him disappear. It was the first time he had seen so many stars at once. the small boy felt somehow even smaller with the whole galaxy above him. He felt like he would float away with the lights if he wasn't careful.
"D-d you like it?" Patton carefully turned his head and looked Logan in the eyes. Holy gosh. He had thought that the stars were the most breathtaking thing there that night, but he had been so wrong. One look in Logan's deep blue eyes and all the stars felt like little dots. The boy's o so pretty eyes held the reflections of every light above him and right now, they were focused on Patton and on Patton only. Logan looked at him like they weren't under the most beautiful nightsky that Patton had ever seen. It was just them and apparently that was all Logan needed.
"I wish we had stardust! Isn't that what tinkerbell uses to fly? I wish we could fly Logan"
Logan chuckled and awkwardly put his hand a little closer to Patton's
"Where would you fly away too?"
"Hmm I think that I'd fly away to the moon"
Patton let out a soft gasp when Logan carefully intertwined their fingers.
"The moon? That's an interesting choice"
Patton leaned his head on his date's shoulder and closed his eyes
"Yeay, because then I'll be able to say that I love you from the moon and back".

Virgil, to suprise of both of them. One day Roman does something stupid and Virgil just casually replies with "You're lucky that I love you", before completely freaking out.
Who would have the other's picture as their phone background?
Roman, he would have a cute picture of the two of them as his background. (Also so he can easily tell everyone how amazing Virgil is, "Look at my boyfriend! He is amazing")
Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror?
Virgil loves to draw flowers in the fog, Roman draws little hearts around them.
Who buys the other cheesy gifts?
Roman. He will shower Virgil in cute little handmade things like heartshaped cookies, Polaroid pictures and all the cute cheesy things. Virgil usually takes him out on a date instead of buying something.
Who initiates the first kiss?
Virgil. After his love confession, Roman tried to calm him down by gently graping his hands and helping him through breathing exercises and Virgil just looked him in the eyes and kissed him.
Who kisses the other awake in the morning?
Roman. He has to leave when Virgil's still asleep, so he just softly kisses his boyfriend's cheek before leaving the house. Virgil always notices the kiss and it makes him blush everytime
Who starts tickle fights?
They don't have tickle fights, they have tickle wars. Virgil is really good at defending himself so it's always a competition for Roman to tickle Virge. Sometimes their tickle fights turn into pillow fights.
Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower?
They both don't. Virgil uses his showers to calm down from all the stress at school/work. They do cuddle afterwards though.
Who suprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch?
Roman will never skip an opportunity to spend more time with his boyfriend. Even if he always has to run back to his own workplace to make it back on time.
Who was nervous and shy on the first date?
Both, and they both tried to hide it.
Who kills/takes out spiders?
They both like spiders. They give them names and greet them when they see the spiders in the hallway. As long as the spiders are not bothering them, then why should they bother the spiders?
Who loudly proclaims their love when they're drunk?
They're both not really big fans of alcohol, but when they do get a bit tipsy, Virgil becomes a giggling mess and Roman becomes extra clingy.
