Just found out today that apparently Helen Henny was in an episode of ALF??

Basically there's an episode of ALF (Season 3, Episode 16 - "Baby Love") in which Nancy Lenehan plays the character of Laverne Litwack. Lenehan was the original voice of Helen Henny, as well as voicing Foxy Colleen and Harmony Howlette. Huh. The more you know I guess.

"My most vile and hideous queen!": Rue McClanahan as the condemned witch Avarissa seeking to return to the overworld in "The Wickedest Witch." Paul "ALF" Fusco produced several of these holiday specials during the '80s, but most aired on premium cable, so I never saw them as a kid. This one is the exception, though, airing on October 30th 1989 on NBC, no doubt to capitaljze on McClanahan's turn on "The Golden Girls." I do wish that Halloween figured more in the narrative -- it's really just a convenient opportunity for the witch to reverse her fortunes -- but the production design is marvelous, McClanahan disdainfully ruling over a subterranean city worthy of "Fraggle Rock," "Labyrinth," and "The Dark Crystal." There's also a large cast of puppets in the form of gameshow-loving gargoyles called Greevils. McClanahan really shines as well as the unrepentant enchantress, exuding a fell glamour in her diadem, long hair, and smokey makeup. The special only aired that one time, never to be repeated or released to commercial VHS or DVD, happily surviving thanks to home video recordings from 1989.
