I JUST HAD A REVELATION!!! What if the reason Paul's so mean to Peter is because Peter was allowed to go and do his own thing and Paul had the stress and responsibility to become mayor? We see he's amazing with plants, maybe Paul wanted to become a botanist instead of Mayor, but he was expected to carry on the Perfect tradition?

Oooh this could perfectly be ! But instead of being literally forced by their parents, I woumd rather see himself feel obligated to do so and convince himself that's what he wanted and what is needed, hence why he has a grudge against all his younger siblings who could go out and do what they wanted while even if nobody forced him to decided to stay out of family tradition and limiting himself. Because indeed Paul is a perfectionist (no pun intended) and needs order in his own little world, so he would not want the town made by his ancestors to be led by politicians outside the family, and HE must ensure for it to remain the most perfect town in America even if it means being despotic, because he is all for tradition and strict and standards, both forbidding himself things but then forbidding things to others too because he takes his role seriously. Mayor of Perfectville ? Then HE will be the most perfect mayor. And wants to mark the history of town to show how dedicated he was to that town because HE takes his responsibilities and family tradition first, RIGHT ? RIGHT ? PLEASE TELL HIM THAT

I also think he is just jealous of all his younger siblings for existing because he would have preferred less responsibilities and be pampered as an only child, but maybe Peter in particular because he DARES bearing their father's name instead of HIM, being the youngest he was pampered the most and the most carefree to have nobody to babysit even if it meant to cancel plans, and since he turnt out to be a famous racer like their father and is seen everywhere on TV, magazines etc doing what HE LOVES, that must have also been enraging. He bullied them all as kids but he did the most on him, and as we saw would always remind him of a loser he was whenever he was home. Out of jealousy

Dunno if a botanist though, maybe just take care of the family's farm all peacefully would have been his thing

Since in the meantime he would have made peace with Peter, he would probably openly be a nice uncle and be relieved to finally have any since both Peter and Penelope had troubles conceiving Paul had even suggested him to leave her if he wanted kids, needless to say Peter kicked him out that day. He would probably a fakely cool (first looks) but actually stricter and snobbish boomer uncle (obsession with perfection), so they would often be bored to be babysit by him or to have to handle him during family reunions, but in tge end they do love him

The idea of Peter Sr using to be a sexist casanova who only cared about himself and sex but having changed into an actual boyfriend then husband and father to her children with Philomena is even more hilarious when you realize he probably had daughters

Mike Disa said in a tweet Paul and Peter Jr had 5 "siblings" not "brothers" so there must be at least one girl in the lot. Given how both parents and the 2 canon brothers are pretty the girl(s) probably is(are) too, so when teenhood and adulthood came there probably were boys hovering around

So just imagine that guy who used to be an assholish fuckboy who screwed, homewrecked, cheated and was selfish seeing all the guys as being like he was and pulling out of his car a barrel gun at any boy friend or boyfriend the girl(s) has(have) with her(them)

EXTREME BIG kudos to Philomena for having been able whatever way it was to turn Peter Sr from a huge homewrecking narcissic cheating mysoginisgic body shaming asshole with too high perfect standards into a probably much more decent person given how sweet Peter Jr is (Paul must have been influenced by the others Perfects or turn that way by being too litteral to the ancestral Perfectville laws written by his ancestors)

Nothing canon you would say ? Sure. But I HIGHLY doubt Phillie would have married and put up with such an asshole given how positive and kind but also strong in all meanings of the term she is, and I also doubt his past self would have "lowered" himself into marrying such a loud, "unfeminine" fat-muscled redhead as tall as him. And they had seven children in total whom all were raised with love and she looks very happy, sweet and optimistic in a natural way so she must have a happy life and, thus, home life too. And she can't be divorced since she is still "Mrs Perfect" (sure I HC Delilah is divorced but kept "Mrs Dastardly" to fuck with her ex but I doubt it is that frequent, plus Delilah does canonly hate Dick the 2nd). So either Peter changed for the better thanks to her like if they started as friends for example and since he sincerely liked her unlike all the women he dated who were there just for sex or to look good next to him and to his ego he wanted to be good to her and it turnt into love, or he changed out of pride because that "fatty" didn't want him and "all women wanted him" so he changed in order to seduce her and oops he did fall in love. Or he had a massive love at first sight and truely loved for once so he had to change or she wouldn't want him. Whatever that was there are high chances things changed for the better thanks to her so BRAVO PHILOMENA YOU ROCK

Or he met her after he had already changed for other reasons but the scenario would be less fun hehe shush

Dick is into Peter just like he is into Penelope, past the rivalry, it's basically canon, but Peter is too kind and stupid and "perfect" so it annoys him

So I just love to imagine, especially since that happens when he barely knew Pandora, that when they met Paul and before he would insult them all and show his extremist colors about perfection he was developping a crush on him : as hot, tall and muscular as Peter and looking like him, a moustache, smart, mean and actually humiliates Peter. And that's why he looks all disappointed when in the end he goes full jerkass mode, and we did see he did like him

I just want to imagine behind the scenes scenes of that episose Dick being an awkward shy bisexual twink about him and being pathetic at flirt attempts before the disasters the racers would cause later

Not embarrass but real mother threats all moms have that only scare shitless her kids as grown as they are. She may be very sweet and proud she REFUSES sibling conflict between her kids, especially from the eldest who bullies instead of protecting. They try pretending whenever she is around

It's funny you mention this since some weeks ago director Mike Disa liked a tweet's idea about them pairing up in an episode to shit on their siblings !

I think they could become buddies or at least acolytes. As for attraction, Paul might indeed find her beautiful and try at first (if not all the time because damn girl she's a snack that is until she gets taken) but as for Pandora I hesitate, would she reject him because it would be the time she would already have feelings, or since she would be a tsundere/in denial at this moment she would flirt back since he IS handsome ? Would have to hesitate lol
