my george martin corner on my backpack is growing….!! when i come back from visiting my buddy oliver ill have to reorganise all the pins from this insert and add my gmartin photocards + other pins + a commissioned chibi felt plush + other misc stuff that i think are very george coded !! hehehehhhh

Sir George Martin’s Coat of Arms and Crest

i only recently found out that george martin has his own coat of arms while visiting the strawberry fields garden in liverpool, it’s so pretty (there’s also a small rose garden dedicated to him and his wife judy how #cute)

now i know pretty much nothing about coat of arms but here’s a few things i noticed about it, based on my former knowledge on misc stuff.. aka here’s a small mediocre analysis done by someone who struggles a lot with chronic brain dysfunction

the bird on it holding the recorder is a common house martin bird !! and it’s holding a gold recorder > centered around music n his last name ^.^

but also common house martins are associated to loyalty, kinship, transformation and the cycle/rythm of life! and if you’re annoying like me you can reach and link rythm to music haha get it because he was into composition, arrangement etc…

‘amore solum opus est’ means ‘only love is needed’ if im not mistaken (studying latin in middle school pays off apparently), referring to ‘all you need is love’

the color blue is often associated to loyalty, truth, honor, steadfastness and perseverance !
