A Washington couple recently received a $1087 bill from AMR for a ride that went about 200 feet on hospital grounds in Seattle.

Aquele dia não podia estar mais tedioso para Susie. Estava largada no sofá e, apesar de querer fazer alguma coisa, não tinha energia nem para levantar-se e pegar o iPod que estava na mesa. Passara o dia anterior todo desenhando ou tentando desenhar algo de que se orgulhasse, mas parecia impossível. Tanto que no dia seguinte não podia nem mais olhar para um lápis e um papel. Queria praticar algum esporte ou jogar algo com alguém, mas de novo a preguiça e a falta de amigos que fizessem isso impediam que se movesse. De repente tentou lembrar-se de algo que tinha para fazer, e finalmente lembrou de que tinha combinado uma "mini competição" de pintura com Paul em seu ateliê.
Suspirou antes de se levantar. Não estava nem um pouco a fim de desenhar ou pintar algo, mas não poderia faltar. Por fim, saiu da cabana e foi até onde o menino provavelmente deveria estar. Bateu na porta e esperou que ele abrisse. "Paul?".
